Merry Christmas dreamers!
Before I start, I would like to apologize to everyone who is reading this post because I’m not so good with English. For me this is the first time writing in a different language and I’m little scared (and it takes me a lot of time to write). I hope that the practice will allow me to loosen up a bit.
My name is Eric, I’m 28 and I live in Italy in a city near Milan, called Piacenza.
With this post I open my big project called “Looting Dreams“.
Looting Dreams, is a indie studios of videogames and a big journey in the videogame industry. I’ve spent a long time with videogames in my life. I love gaming, but since I was 6 I’ve always tried to be the master.
I started playing with Age of Empires with my father, on his lap and soon I started to play alone. I’ve spent a lot of time creating new maps in the editor and testing stories.
When I was 14 I decided to begin with IT high school because I wanted to learn programming in order to create my own videogames.
In 2012 I started my career without a degree (unfortunately) in a big software company here in Italy and I forgot my real dream.
In 2021 I started a path to change my life that will continue in the next year and even in the following ones. I will be happy if you want to share with me this journey.
The reason of the number in the title
Maybe you have noticed the number in the title of this post. #1491. What does it mean?
It represents the number of weeks that I lived in my life. So, the target for me is to write a post every week that cover news about my projects, information on what I study, everything that I want to share with you, posting every Saturday.
This post is just a test for me, to break the ice and overcome my fears and my doubts.
