Hi Dreamers!

I’m late! I know, sorry!!

But I have an alibi! Last week (#1501) I went in Lisboa with my girlfriend. This trip was the first where we take a flight together in 3 years of relationship due Covid restrictions and general fear about go in different countries.

It was a nice weekend where we visited the city and ate delicious local food.

Obviously this trip has been so fun and intense (we spent over 10 hours travelling with different public transportations in a weekend) but this has really thrown off my timetable. It’s ok, I loved this crazy weekend, but now I want come back on my projects.

Back to the office + Videogames

At the same time I started going to the office of my new job after a period of full smart working and the pace is quite hot. A lot of work, new routine, “un-virtual colleagues”.

It’s a great place to work on my opinion and I’m very happy, but I need a period of adjustment before start again 100% on my path.

In order to manage the pressure and relax a bit I started again to play some games. With a friend, I played Dead Space 3.

We love Dead Space franchise but we never play the third, so we started co-op campaign. Despite the critics was not so happy with this games, We’re having fun! It’s not so bad guys, even if is a 2013’s game.

Ok, cutscenes looks very old and sometimes is not clear if is Dead Space or a Nathan Drake’s game. It’s difficult to explain the feeling, even in my mother tongue. Had you ever went in a playroom in 00’s with a friend and had you played with some not-so-horror game that needs a lot of coins to destroy a boss? Well. I feel that melancholic sentiment. Well, the game technically is so better than those of the playroom, but it’s the same feeling.

On my own I’m playing with Death Stranding. I love the landscapes of that game. I’m close to the half of the story and I’m starting to be more interested in “what’s next”?

Playing with this game after the Covid situation, I “read” a metaphor not designed by Kojima but so present in our lives.

Cities and bunkers closed, desert streets. The population scared about theirs lives and the only connection between people were couriers.

I shudder. But I love to shuddering.
